Our Commitment
Eco Simply is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities and those using assistive technologies. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
What We Have Done
We have built this website with accessibility in mind:
- Semantic HTML — We use proper headings, landmarks, lists and form elements so screen readers and other assistive technologies can interpret the page structure
- Colour contrast — Text and interactive elements use colour combinations that meet WCAG AA contrast requirements
- Alternative text — All meaningful images have descriptive alt text
- Keyboard navigation — Menus, buttons, forms and interactive elements can be used with a keyboard alone
- Responsive design — The website works across different screen sizes, devices and orientations
- Form labels — Every form field has an associated label for screen reader users
- ARIA attributes — We use ARIA roles and properties on interactive components such as the FAQ accordions and mobile navigation
- Clear typography — Text is set at readable sizes with adequate line spacing
- Focus indicators — Keyboard users can see which element is currently focused
Known Limitations
We are aware of the following areas where accessibility could be improved:
- Some third-party embedded content (such as WhatsApp links) may not fully meet accessibility standards
- Decorative placeholder images in the gallery section do not convey content and are marked as such
We review and improve accessibility on an ongoing basis as the site develops.
